
Overview
Richala Jackson is an associate in the Litigation Department based in the firm’s Houston office. Her practice encompasses a broad range of complex commercial disputes, including intellectual property litigation matters where she leverages her scientific background to an assist in proceedings before the International Trade Commission.
Before transitioning to litigation, Richala was an associate in the Corporate Department, focusing on capital markets transactions. She brings a multifaceted perspective to her practice, drawing experience in both corporate and litigation matters.
Richala earned her Juris Doctor and a degree in Comparative Law from Louisiana State University, Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 2022. During law school, she served as a senior associate for the LSU Journal of Energy Law and Resources and as president of the LSU Chapter of the Black Law Students’ Association. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Biology, magna cum laude, from Fisk University in 2019.
Richala is admitted to practice in Texas and Mississippi.
