Paul Hastings Plans New Dallas and Houston Offices for Growing Texas Presence
November 12, 2024
DALLAS and HOUSTON – Reflecting the firm’s growth and strong trajectory in Texas, Paul Hastings LLP has signed a lease for its new Dallas office in the highly sought-after nine-story office tower in The Knox Street Development, while the firm will relocate its Houston office to a larger space in the downtown landmark, 609 Main.
Paul Hastings has more than tripled its Texas headcount in the last year and expects to have more than 100 lawyers in Texas by Q1 2025, up from 25 in 2023.
“The dynamic Texas market is an important part of our broader strategy and our Dallas and Houston offices underscore our commitment to Texas,” said firm Chair Frank Lopez. “We are pleased that so many premier lawyers and clients continue to be attracted to our world-class platform as we expand and gain additional market share across Texas and globally.”
The firm will move from its current Dallas location in Trammell Crow Center into the new space at the Knox project upon its completion, which is anticipated in the spring of 2027. The Knox Street Development is a joint venture partnership of BDT & MSD Partners, Trammel Crow Company, The Retail Connection, and Highland Park Village Associates.
In Houston, the firm plans to move from its current location at 600 Travis Street to a space twice as large at 609 Main Street when construction is completed next spring. A highly visible downtown landmark, 609 Main is a LEED® Platinum 48-story building in the city’s Central Business District.
