Paul Hastings Announces Official Seoul Office Opening and Expansion of Team

Seoul (November 7, 2012) - Paul Hastings, a leading global law firm, announced today that the firm has officially opened an office in Seoul where Korea Office Chair Jong Han Kim, Vice Chair and Corporate Partner Daniel Kim and the entire team will be based. The office, located in the prestigious Mirae Asset Center1 building in downtown Seoul, marks Paul Hastings twentieth office worldwide and its fifth in Asia.
The practice will focus on three main areas: cross-border M&A and joint ventures, complex cross-border litigation including intellectual property and antitrust matters, and international capital markets.

In addition to the office opening, the team has been significantly strengthened by the addition of an international capital markets specialist - Of Counsel Dong Chul Kim, as well as the recent promotion of Woojae Kim to Of Counsel and a planned relocation of an IP litigation specialist K. Trisha Chang from the firms Washington D.C. office.
