Hulu Acquires “Bad Hair” from Sight Unseen Pictures

Century City -- Paul Hastings LLP, a leading global law firm, announced today that the firm represented financing and production company Sight Unseen Pictures in their sale of director Justin Simien’s horror satire film Bad Hair to Hulu for $8 million. Sight Unseen produced the film, which debuted at the Sundance Film Festival on January 23, 2020.

Bad Hair stars Elle Lorraine, Kelly Rowland, Vanessa Williams, Jay Pharoah, Lena Waithe, Blair Underwood and Laverne Cox. The deal includes a limited theatrical release before the film appears on Hulu.
