BBVA Bancomer Serves as Administrative Agent and Lender in $500 Million Syndicated Term Loan

New York - Paul Hastings LLP, a leading global law firm, represented BBVA Bancomer, as Administrative Agent and Global Coordinator, and the lenders in connection with a $500 million Senior Unsecured Term Loan Agreement entered into by Iberdrola Generación México, S.A. de C.V., an indirect subsidiary of the Spanish energy group. The proceeds will be used by Iberdrola for general corporate purposes.

Paul Hastings attorneys also represented BBVA, as Administrative Agent, and the lenders in Iberdrola’s $400 million Senior Unsecured Green Term Loan Agreement in 2018 and its $300 million Senior Unsecured Term Loan Agreement in 2015.
