Milan Smith is an associate in the Investment Funds & Private Capital practice at Paul Hastings and is based in the firm’s Los Angeles office. Her practice focuses on structuring and organizing investment funds, including direct lending, private debt and credit funds, private equity funds, hedge funds and fund-of-funds.

Milan received her law degree from the UCLA School of Law. During law school she served as Co-Chair of the Black Law Students Association and an editor for the UCLA Law Review. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science from UCLA, where she graduated with honors, and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Southern California.
