The members of Paul Hastings (Europe) LLP are solicitors or registered foreign lawyers authorised to practice in England & Wales.
The word "partner" is used to refer to a member of Paul Hastings (Europe) LLP. A list of members is open for inspection at the registered office, 100 Bishopsgate, London EC2N 4AG.

COMPLAINTS
We encourage you to contact us in the first instance if you are unhappy with the service you receive from us and we suggest initially that you contact the person responsible for the particular matter whose name and email address will have been identified to you in the engagement letter.
If you would like to make a formal complaint, then you can read our full complaints procedure here. Making a complaint will not affect how we handle your case.
What to do if we cannot resolve your complaint
The Legal Ombudsman may be able to help you if we are unable to resolve your complaint ourselves. They will look at your complaint independently and it will not affect how we handle your case.
Before accepting a complaint for investigation, the Legal Ombudsman will check that you have tried to resolve your complaint with us first. If you have, then you must take your complaint to the Legal Ombudsman:
- within six months of receiving a final response to your complaint; and
- no more than one year from the date of act/omission; or
- no more than one year from when you should reasonably have known there was cause for complaint.
Most private individuals, small organisations and small businesses are entitled to use the Legal Ombudsman service, but there are restrictions for larger organisations and businesses. The Scheme Rules of the Legal Ombudsman provide details and can be accessed on the website referred to below. 2. Professional Regulations for Lawyers
All lawyers employed at the Paris Office of Paul Hastings (Europe) LLP are subject to the following professional regulations as amended from time to time:
- Law n°71-1130 reforming certain judicial and legal professions of December 31rd, 1971 (Loi n° 71-1130 du 31 décembre 1971 portant réforme de certaines professions judiciaires et juridiques - Légifrance (legifrance.gouv.fr);
- Decree n°91-1197 organizing the attorney profession of November 27th, 1991 (Décret n°91-1197 du 27 novembre 1991 organisant la profession d'avocat - Légifrance (legifrance.gouv.fr);
- Normative decision n°2005-003 adopting the national internal regulations (RIN) of the legal profession (Règlement intérieur national (RIN) de la profession d’avocat (cnb.avocat.fr);
- Attorney’s Code of Ethics promulgated by the French Bar Association (Accès par articles (avocatparis.org);
- Rules of procedure of the Paris Bar Association ;
- Directive 98/5/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 February 1998 to facilitate practice of the profession of lawyer on a permanent basis in a Member State other than that in which the qualification was obtained (EUR-Lex - 31998L0005 - FR (europa.eu);
- Council Directive 77/249/EEC of 22 March 1977 to facilitate the effective exercise by lawyers of freedom to provide services (EUR-Lex - 31977L0249 - FR (europa.eu);
