Marquis Cardwell is an associate in the Structured Credit practice and is based in the firm’s Los Angeles office. His practice focuses on securitization and structured finance, with an emphasis on structured credit products and collateralized loan obligation transactions.

Prior to joining Paul Hastings, he represented major commercial and investment banks, private equity sponsors and corporate borrowers in connection with secured and unsecured syndicated credit facilities, leveraged acquisition financings, and other debt financing transactions.

Mr. Cardwell received his law degree from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Risk Management and Insurance from the University of Georgia. He is admitted to practice law in California.
