Margaret Shields is an associate in the Litigation department and based in the firm's New York office. Her practice focuses on investigations and white-collar defense and global trade controls.

Ms. Shields received her law degree from New York University School of Law in 2022. During law school she served as an Executive Editor for the Journal of Legislation and Public Policy and as a Student Staff Editor for Just Security. She also participated as a fellow in the Program on Corporate Compliance and Enforcement. Prior to law school, Ms. Shields worked at the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from Dartmouth College in 2016. Ms. Shields is admitted to practice law in New York and the District of Columbia.
