Overview

Vanessa Omoroghomwan is an associate in the Litigation practice and is based in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office. Her areas of focus include complex civil litigation, white-collar criminal defense, and appellate matters.

Vanessa has represented a variety of individuals and corporations in high-stakes matters in both federal and state courts, as well as in government investigations. She has taken numerous depositions, drafted successful motions, and argued in court.

Vanessa served as a law clerk to the Honorable Joseph F. Bianco on the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and to the Honorable Denise J. Casper on the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts.

She is also a member of the bars of the United States District Court, District of Columbia and the United States Supreme Court.

Prior to joining Paul Hastings, Vanessa was an associate at another law firm in Washington, D.C.

Vanessa graduated cum laude from Georgetown University Law Center, where she was Executive Editor for the Annual Review of Criminal Procedure on the Georgetown Law Journal.

She earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science and Philosophy from Boston College.
