Thomas D. Peeney is Of Counsel in the Investment Funds & Private Capital practice at Paul Hastings and is based in the firm’s New York office. His practice focuses on advising investment funds designed for retail and high net worth investors, including mutual funds, closed-end funds, interval funds, tender offer funds, exchange-traded funds, business development companies and their investment advisers and fund boards on the full range of investment management matters. Mr. Peeney’s experience spans the development, structuring, operation and regulation of registered investment companies, and alternative fund structures, including fund governance matters, secondary market financings, and regulatory and compliance matters involving registered funds and their investment advisers and boards. His practice emphasizes the formation of these investment vehicles as well as the various legal issues that are particular to the investment management industry.
