
Overview
Shera Y. Kwak is an associate in the Employment Law practice and is based in the firm’s Los Angeles office. Shera represents employers in all aspects of labor relations and employment law in single-plaintiff and class action matters, including wage and hour, discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination, harassment and trade secret matters.
Prior to joining Paul Hastings, Shera served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Susan van Keulen of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, a judicial extern to the Honorable Andrew J. Guilford (Ret.) of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, and a law clerk at the Sacramento City Attorney’s Office.
Shera received her J.D. from UC Davis School of Law in 2019. During law school, Shera volunteered at the Employment Law Clinic at Voluntary Legal Services Program of Northern California and served as senior symposium editor for the UC Davis Law Review and the managing editor for the UC Davis Business Law Journal. Shera received her B.A. and B.S. in Political Science and Society and Environment respectively from UC Berkeley in 2013.
