Dr. Johann Melchior Raiser is a partner in the Frankfurt office of Paul Hastings.

He specializes in acquisition finance, syndicated lending and financial restructuring. He advises leading banks, financial institutions, direct lenders, private equity investors and corporate clients on complex domestic and international transactions, including leveraged buyouts, general syndicated lending, unitranche financings, corporate finance and financial restructuring. Other areas of expertise include real estate and project finance.

Prior to joining Paul Hastings, Dr. Raiser worked at major U.S. and English law firms in the areas of banking and leveraged finance.

Dr. Raiser studied law in Passau, Toledo and Munich and is admitted to practice in Germany. He is fluent in German, English and Spanish.
