Overview

Magda Vasiadi, Ph.D., is an associate in the Litigation practice and is based in the firm’s New York office. Her practice focuses on patent litigation in the fields of pharmaceuticals and biotechnology.

Dr. Vasiadi received her J.D. from Fordham Law School in 2020. She obtained her Ph.D. in Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics from the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences at Tufts University in 2014. Dr. Vasiadi also holds a D.Sc. in Immunology from the School of Medicine of National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in Greece and a B.S. in Molecular Biology from the Biology Department of University of Patras in Greece.

Prior to joining Paul Hastings, Dr. Vasiadi was a patent prosecutor at three international law firms. As a patent prosecutor, Dr. Vasiadi developed, implemented, and managed worldwide patent portfolios covering biologics and pharmaceuticals and she represented and counseled large pharmaceutical corporations, start-ups, and universities.
