Overview

Kane Yutaka Tenorio is an associate in the Litigation Department and is based in the firm's Los Angeles office. Kane focuses his practice on internal corporate investigations and complex civil litigation. Kane represents a broad range of clients across the Americas, Europe and Asia. With experience in all stages of litigation from pre-filing through trial and appeal, Kane defends individuals and companies in high-stakes civil cases and appeals.  

With a practice focusing on solving the cutting-edge litigation and regulatory issues faced by emerging industries, Kane has also represented officers and companies in court and arbitration proceedings related to intellectual property, cyber security, data privacy, NFTs and cryptocurrency offerings. Kane also advises clients in the commercial space industry on regulatory concerns related to the New Space Economy, including regulatory compliance and licensing programs of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and Federal Communications Commission (FCC).  

Kane specializes in trial advocacy and regularly counsels clients in risk assessment and mitigation strategies related to litigation and regulatory concerns. Kane maintains an active pro bono practice, focusing on assisting community organizations based in East Los Angeles.  

Prior to joining Paul Hastings, Kane received his law degree from Georgetown University Law Center in 2023, where he served as the Executive Diversity & Outreach Editor for the Georgetown Journal of Legal Ethics, Alumni Liaison for the Native American Law Student Association and a member of the trial advocacy team. During law school, Kane interned for the SEC Division of Enforcement, EEOC Chair Charlotte Burrows and Eastern District of Louisiana Judge Ivan L.R. Lemelle. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of California Santa Barbara in 2018. Kane is admitted to practice law in California.

  • Insurance broker executive in Washington federal district court for fraud and breach of contract claims.

  • Advising and drafting public comment to U.S. Department of Transportation, National Highway Traffic Safety Administration for software developer.
