Overview
Jose P. Salas is an associate in the Corporate practice of Paul Hastings and is based in the firm's Houston office. His practice focuses on a diverse range of domestic and international energy-related transactions and projects, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and project development.
Mr. Salas received his law degree, summa cum laude, from South Texas College of Law Houston in 2022, where he served as a member of the South Texas Law Review and brief writer on the Board of Advocates. Mr. Salas has been inducted to the Order of the Scribes and the Order of the Lytae. He was also recognized as the most outstanding student in his oil and gas courses by the Houston Bar Association Energy Law Section. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government from the University of Texas at Austin in 2019. Mr. Salas is admitted to practice law in Texas.
