Overview
Joanne Wong is an attorney in the corporate practice of Paul Hastings and is based in the firm’s Hong Kong office. Ms. Wong has extensive experience in capital markets transactions, a focus on mergers and acquisitions in Hong Kong and in the PRC, corporate and commercial transactions, and regulatory compliance of Hong Kong listed companies. She also has specialized expertise in handling and advising various Hong Kong-listed companies on all aspects of ongoing compliance matters, including corporate governance, capital structure, ESG, public reporting and disclosure, and compliance matters of Hong Kong Listing Rules.
Her clients include multinational and regional corporations, financial institutions, state-owned enterprises, listed companies, private companies, high-net-worth individuals and entrepreneurs across a multitude of industries, including commercial banking, real estate, property management, electronic appliances, education, food and beverage, providers of enterprise software, services designed for MSEs, etc. Prior to joining Paul Hastings, Ms. Wong worked in two leading international law firms for many years. She is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
