Overview
Jai Mudhar is an associate in the Financial Restructuring Group at Paul Hastings and is based in the firm’s London office.
Jai advises debtors, creditors, sponsors and strategic investors on U.K.-based and cross-border restructurings. She also has experience in identifying and analyzing distressed investment opportunities and advises investment banks, hedge funds and private equity houses in their review and due diligence of investment opportunities in stressed and distressed situations.

Representations
- The Cineworld Group and its U.K. subsidiaries on their successful financial and lease restructuring via four restructuring plans.
- Vyaire Medical, Inc. and some of its affiliates in their prearranged Chapter 11 cases in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware. Vyaire is a leading medical devices and services company with approximately $534 million in funded debt. Vyaire commenced the prearranged cases to conduct a sale process with a $45 million debtor-in-possession financing facility and the support of the vast majority of its secured lenders.
- The ad hoc committee of jumbo and convertible lenders of the Spanish steel manufacturing company, Celsa, in the first use of the Spanish restructuring plan procedure.
- The Infarm Group in relation to its financial restructuring.
- The official committee of unsecured creditors of Valaris plc in connection with its $7.1 billion financial restructuring through prearranged Chapter 11 cases and parallel U.K. implementation.
- A security agent in relation to a complex dispute arising in connection with distributions made pursuant to an intercreditor agreement.
