Overview

Hilary d’Lacy Fey is an Of Counsel in the Real Estate practice of Paul Hastings and is a member of the Global Hospitality & Leisure group. She is based in the firm’s Century City office.

Ms. Fey’s practice focuses on a wide variety of real estate-related transaction, with an emphasis on the representation of real estate development companies, sovereign wealth funds, private equity funds, capital market clients, and other institutional investors in a variety of real estate matters including the acquisition, financing and development of hotels, student communities, health care facilities and multi-family residential projects. She regularly represents developers and equity investors in connection with complex joint ventures for the acquisition, development and management of resorts and student communities. Her practice also includes the representation of borrowers in negotiating real-estate related construction and permanent loans as well as the negotiation of management and franchise agreements.

Ms. Fey received her J.D. in 2000 from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law. She graduated summa cum laude with high honors and from Vanderbilt University in 1997 and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. She was a Vanderbilt Scholar and was awarded the Dewey Grantham Award for the best honors thesis in the history department.
