Overview

Hélène Lenoury is an associate in the Litigation practice of Paul Hastings and is based in the firm's Paris office. 

Ms. Lenoury represents a wide range of French and international clients before civil and commercial courts, particularly in the chemical, banking/finance, and new technologies sectors.

Ms. Lenoury  practice focuses on commercial litigation, particularly in the areas of contractual and tort liability, industrial risk, and product liability, as well as anti-competitive practices. She also handles shareholder disputes, management liability disputes, and transactional litigation.

  • Represented a leading chemical group in a litigation initiated by a French-Vietnamese individual against the 26 U.S. manufacturers of an herbicide used during the Vietnam War before Tribunal de Grande Instance in Evry.
  • Represented a leading agrochemical company in a commercial dispute with a former subcontractor following the explosion at the AZF chemical plant.
  • Represented a major Lebanese bank in a strategic and complex shareholder dispute initiated by one of its minority shareholders.
  • Represented various top Lebanese banks in significant cases arising in the context of the Lebanese crisis, including defense against interim attachments taken by clients in France.
  • Represented Dexia Crédit Local, Société de Financement Local, and Caisse Française de Financement, all of whom were sued by no less than 200 local authorities in the so-called "toxic loans" case.
  • Represented Enedis in various pre-litigation and litigation proceedings initiated before the Paris Civil Court by users opposed to the installation of Linky meters or demanding their removal.
  • Represented the world leader in beauty packaging before the commercial court and the Court of Appeal of Paris in the context of a claim brought by one of its distributors that was based on various commercial grounds (undue distortion of competition, unfair competition, wrongful and sudden termination of the contractual relationship, and abuse of economic dependence).
  • Represented a French multinational engineering and technology company in a contractual liability dispute against one of its clients.

Involvement
