Overview
David Valente is an associate in the Intellectual Property practice at Paul Hastings and is based in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office. His practice focuses on all types of intellectual property litigation, including patent, trade secret, and unfair competition disputes in federal district court and post-grant proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB).
Prior to joining Paul Hastings, Mr. Valente was a student associate at a law firm where he focused on section 337 investigations before the International Trade Commission. While in school, Mr. Valente also interned in the United States Patent and Trademark Office's Central Reexamination Unit and for a judge at the United States Court of Federal Claims.
Mr. Valente is admitted to practice law in the District of Columbia and registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
