Overview

David Gobel is an associate in the Employment Law Department and is based in the firm’s Los Angeles office. His practice focuses on traditional labor disputes and employment disputes under California and federal law.

David has represented companies and institutes of higher education in unfair labor disputes, labor representation hearings and throughout the collective bargaining process. He has also represented individual corporations in proceedings involving allegations of discrimination, harassment, retaliation and wage-and-hour claims.

David received his law degree from the Gould School of Law at the University of Southern California in 2022, where he served as senior citations editor of the university’s Interdisciplinary Law Journal and worked in the university’s Intellectual Property and Technology Law Clinic. He earned degrees in Philosophy-Neuroscience-Psychology and Marketing from Washington University in St. Louis in 2016. David is admitted to practice law in California and joined Paul Hastings from another major U.S. law firm.
