Brian Shin is an associate in the Litigation practice based in the firm's New York office. His practice focuses on complex litigation with an emphasis on intellectual property matters in the field of pharmaceuticals and biotechnology.

Prior to joining Paul Hastings, Mr. Shin spent several years as a patent examiner at the United States Patent and Trademark Office. In that role, he examined patent applications in the field of computer vision with applications ranging from machine learning image processing to medical imaging.

Mr. Shin received his law degree from The George Washington University Law School in 2022. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering with a Minor in Electrical Engineering from the University of Virginia in 2015. Mr. Shin is admitted to practice law in New York.
