Paul Hastings Ranked #1 in 2023 American Lawyer Summer Associate Satisfaction Survey

Paul Hastings was ranked as the number one law firm nationally in The American Lawyer’s 2023 Summer Associate Satisfaction Survey, which measures the satisfaction of summer associates employed by the nation’s law firms. The publication surveyed 3,471 summer associates from more than 70 law firms, with final scores based on associate ratings of the firm’s qualities, including interest and satisfaction with the work, benefits and compensation, interaction with partners, training, and more.  

Our Summer Associate Program serves as a cornerstone not just for the recruitment of outstanding associates, but for the future success of our firm. During the program, summer associates in each of our U.S. offices have the opportunity to work on several projects with different lawyers in a variety of practice areas. Summer associates also observe and, when possible, assist in trials, hearings, depositions, and negotiations, and participate in client meetings and closings.
