Paul Hastings Named The American Lawyer “Litigator of the Week” Runner-Up for Fending Off 12-Count Criminal Embezzlement Indictment for Former Silicon Valley Startup CFO

Paul Hastings LLP was named a “runner-up” in The American Lawyer’s “Litigator of the Week” recognitions for securing a defense victory for Aubrey Jackson Shelton II, the former CFO at Silicon Valley startup RepairPal, when U.S. District Judge Jacqueline Scott Corley in San Francisco declared a mistrial after a jury deadlocked on all 12 criminal embezzlement counts.

Investigations and White Collar Defense partner Adam Fee led the Paul Hastings team, which also included partner Susan Leader, of counsel Ali Rabbani and associates Ben Nicholson, Sara Bricker, Meaza Abraham and Blanca Andrei.
