Paul Hastings M&A and Global Finance Groups Advise on Multibillion-Dollar Deals

Paul Hastings LLP advised on two major deals announced this week, valued at $6.7 billion and $3 billion, respectively.

Paul Hastings’ M&A team, led by partners Eduardo Gallardo, Jon Kubek and Tim Fesenmyer, advised Pactiv Evergreen Inc. in its combination with Novolex in an all-cash transaction valued at $6.7 billion, creating a leading manufacturer in food, beverage and specialty packaging products. The team also included partners Ziemowit Smulkowski, Scott Flicker, Bradley Ritter, Jonathan Ko, Jason Ertel, Rachel Gray-Pundir, Todd Schneider, Mike Murray and Sean Donahue.

The firm’s Global Finance team, led by partners Marc Lashbrook, David Barash and Josh Zelig, and including partner Daniel Nicholas, advised the financing sources on Lone Star’s $3 billion acquisition of Carrier Global Corporation’s Commercial and Residential Fire business to form Kidde Global Solutions, a world leader in fire & life safety solutions.
