Paul Hastings Continues to Bolster Market-Leading Global Finance Practice

NEW YORK – Further strengthening its market-leading global finance practice, Paul Hastings LLP announced today that up-and-coming star finance lawyer Stephen Gruendel has joined the firm as a partner in New York.

Gruendel advises leading institutional investors, investment banks, and commercial banks on a broad range of transactions, with a particular emphasis on matters relating to private credit, syndicated lending, and high-yield bond offerings. He has previously advised investment institutions and asset managers including Golub Capital, Bank of America, Goldman Sachs, and J.P. Morgan, among others.

Gruendel, who joins from Shearman & Sterling, previously practiced at Cahill, Gordon & Reindel LLP and, at Paul Hastings, will reunite with former colleagues Marc Lashbrook, Josh Zelig, and David Barash, who joined from Cahill last year.
