Paul Hastings Advises Oak Hill Advisors in One of Largest-Ever Private U.S. Conservation-Focused Forest Investments

Paul Hastings LLP is advising Oak Hill Advisors L.P., a leading alternative investment firm, as leader of a strategic environmental investment alliance in Blue Source Sustainable Forests Company to acquire a 1.7 million-acre timberland portfolio, as well as definitive agreements to acquire an additional 200,000 acres for a total value of approximately $1.8 billion. In one of the largest private conservation-focused forest investments in U.S. history, the land will be sustainably managed forestland for climate mitigation.
