Paul Hastings Advised the Lenders and Administrative Agent in the Green Loan Acquisition Financing of Mexican Solar Power Plant

Paul Hastings advised Scotiabank Inverlat, S.A. Institución de Banca Múltiple Grupo Financiero Scotiabank Inverlat, as Lender and Administrative Agent and The Bank of Nova Scotia, as Lender in providing a “green” Term Loan to Cometa Energía, S.A. de C.V. , a subsidiary of Saavi Energía, in connection with its acquisition of La Lucha Power Plant, a 130 MW solar photovoltaic power facility located in Mexico, from Northland Power Inc. The transaction was signed on March 4, 2024, and closed on June 28, 2024.
