Paul Hastings Advised on Hana Bank’s Issuance of EUR500 Million Sustainability Covered Bonds

Paul Hastings LLP acted as United States counsel to managers in connection with Hana Bank’s issuance of Series 3 EUR500 million 2.875% Sustainability Covered Bonds due 2028 under its Global Covered Bond Programme on January 23, 2025. The offering was conducted in reliance on Regulation S of the U.S. Securities Act of 1933, as amended, and the covered bonds were dual-listed on the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited and Frankfurt Stock Exchange.

BNP Paribas, Commerzbank Aktiengesellschaft, ING Bank N.V., Société Générale and Standard Chartered Bank acted as the joint lead managers.

Paul Hastings also assisted Hana Bank and dealers with the update of Hana Bank’s US$5 billion Global Covered Bond Programme, which was completed on January 6, 2025.
