Paul Hastings Advised doValue in the Sale of Two Non-Performing Loans Portfolios

Paul Hastings (Europe) LLP advised doValue S.p.A (doValue), a leading European servicer of credit and real estate assets, in the sale to Intrum, a credit management company, of two non-performing loans (NPL) portfolios of approximately €630 million of aggregate gross book value.

The transaction allows doValue to accelerate collection activity in Greece whilst retaining the long-term servicing mandate on the two portfolios acquired by Intrum. The transaction was implemented on doLook, the digital NPL trading platform which doValue developed jointly with fintech company Debitos. The transaction was one of the largest secondary sales of NPL portfolios in Europe and the first-ever Greece secondary NPL transaction on the doLook platform.
