Paul Hastings Advised Consorcio Eléctrico Yapay S.A. in Financing for TOCE-CEPI Transmission Project in Perú

Paul Hastings LLP advised Consorcio Eléctrico Yapay S.A., as borrower, and Consorcio Transmantaro S.A., as sponsor, in the equity bridge loan financing of the TOCE-CEPI transmission project in Perú. The project represents the largest energy transmission investment ever awarded by ProInversión, a public agency that promotes private investment in public services, infrastructure, assets, and state-owned companies in Peru, consisting of more than 1,000 km of 500 kV transmission lines with projected capex of over $800 million. The project will connect to clean energy sources, ensure the transportation of electric energy to the north of Peru, and will benefit more than nine million Peruvians.
