Paul Hastings Adds Premier M&A and Shareholder Activism Lawyer

BOSTON and NEW YORK – In a move that further strengthens the firm’s M&A and premier shareholder activism platform, Paul Hastings LLP today announced that Andrew H. Goodman will join the firm as a partner on Monday, August 19.
Goodman, who will work out of the firm’s Boston and New York offices, focuses on public company M&A, corporate governance, shareholder activism defense, and contested situations. He advises clients across sectors with deep experience in life sciences, technology, and real estate investment trust M&A.

Ranked by The Legal 500 for his work in shareholder activism defense, Goodman advises clients on fiduciary and governance matters, as well as diverse contests for corporate control, including election contests and opposition to transactions. He has worked with clients such as Forma Therapeutics, Ipsen Pharmaceuticals, iRobot, LaSalle Hotel Properties, Parexel, Teva Pharmaceuticals, WisdomTree Investments, Xoom, and Zoll Medical.
