NEW YORK – In a move that further strengthens its growing global funds offering, Paul Hastings LLP announced today that leading investment funds lawyer Anna Rips has joined the firm as a partner in New York from Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP.

The addition of Rips bolsters Paul Hastings’ premier investment funds and private capital practice with particular expertise in credit funds at a time when global private credit assets under management approach $1.5 trillion. The move strengthens the firm’s position as a go-to legal partner for asset managers and private funds needing sophisticated, forward-looking and practical legal services for the full range of their private credit products.

Rips started her legal career at Skadden and practiced there for more than 17 years.
