YPF Completes Sale of 24.99% Stake in YPF Energia Electrica to GE Energy Financial Services

New York - Paul Hastings LLP, a leading global law firm, advised YPF S.A. a vertically integrated Argentine energy company, in the sale of a 24.99% stake in YPF Energía Eléctrica S.A., its electricity generation unit, to affiliates of GE Energy Financial Services. The transaction for $276 million, plus a contingency payment of $35 million closed on February 28, 2018.
