Walmart to Sell Vudu Streaming Service to NBCUniversal’s Fandango

Century City, CA – Paul Hastings LLP, a leading global law firm, announced that the firm advised Walmart on the sale of Vudu, a popular on demand streaming service, to Fandango, a subsidiary of NBCUniversal.
As a part of the agreement, Vudu will continue to power Walmart’s digital movie and TV store on Walmart.com. The video service reaches more than 100 million living room devices across the United States.
The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions.
