Swisspower Rinnovabili Italia Acquires 73.0 MW Renewable Plants Portfolio from Gruppo Sorgent.e

Milan – Paul Hastings LLP, a leading global law firm, announced today that it assisted Swisspower Renewable AG in the the acquisition of 27 plants for the production of power from renewable sources with an installed nominal capacity equal to about 73.0 MW.
Swisspower Renewable AG, by the means of the subsidiary Swippower Rinnovabili Italia, acquires 100% of Sorgente II S.r.l., which in turn owns 14 special purpose vehicles with 27 plants (21 hydroelectric plants, 3 PV plants and 3 wind farms) for a cumulative annual power generation estimated at about 200 GWh. Swisspower Group increases its market share in the production of power from renewable sources, up to a installed capacity equal to about 88 MW and an expected annual power generation equal to about 250 GWh.
