Paul Hastings Wins Loan Team of the Year for the Second Year in a Row at 2016 IFLR Americas Awards

New York – Paul Hastings LLP, a leading global law firm, was recognized as “Loan Team of the Year” for the second year in a row by IFLR at its 11th annual Americas Awards. Our representation of GE Capital as lender and agent in an approximately $3 billion seller financing loan facility, one of the largest real estate financings ever in Latin America, was also recognized as the “Deal of the Year” in the Loan category.

In addition to these wins, the firm was also shortlisted for “Team of the Year” in the Private Equity and Restructuring categories, and for “Deal of the Year” in the Loan, Restructuring, and Private Equity categories for representing, respectively, the lenders in an approximately $850 million revolving credit facility extended to Fibra Uno, the largest real estate loan ever granted in Latin America; representing Homex in connection with the restructuring of approximately $2.4 billion of claims, including $900 million in international bonds; and representing Fosun International, the largest private-owned conglomerate in China, on its participation in the acquisition of Cirque Du Soleil.
