Paul Hastings Wins Law360 Hospitality Practice Group of the Year for 2016

New York, NY – Paul Hastings LLP, a leading global law firm, announced today that the Firm was recognized by Law360, a leading legal industry news publication, as a 2016 Hospitality Practice Group of the Year.

In a related profile, the hospitality team (of 18 partners and counsel along with more than 35 associates) was highlighted for their work in all of Carey Watermark Investors acquisitions since inception of the company; the restructuring and $265 million construction financing of an Ian Schrager Manhattan hotel and residential project; the $215 million acquisition of the Andaz hotel in New York by the Takenaka Corp.; and Apollo Global Management’s $2.2 billion acquisition of timeshare property operator Diamond Resorts International. Additionally, the firm was noted for representing clients including Oaktree Capital, Dubai World Corp., Equity Group Investments and GIC.
