Paul Hastings Represents Grupo Lala in International IPO

New York, NY – Paul Hastings LLP, a leading global law firm, announced today that it represented Grupo Lala, Mexico’s largest dairy company and one of the leading dairy companies in Latin America, in completing its $1.1 billion initial public offering of common stock. The offering is the largest IPO of the year from Latin America.

The IPO was sold internationally pursuant to Rule 144A and Regulation S and the shares were listed on the Mexican Stock Exchange. The proceeds will be used to repay debt and for corporate purposes. An affiliate of Lala, that was spun off just prior to the IPO, is the largest milk producer in the United States.
