Paul Hastings Represents GE Transportation in Acquisition of RMI

Atlanta, GA (November 17, 2011) - Paul Hastings LLP, a leading global law firm, announced today that the firm represented General Electric Transportation, part of General Electric (NYSE: GE) and a global technology leader and supplier to the railroad, marine, drilling, wind and mining industries, in its acquisition of, rail software and services provider, RMI from, private equity firm, The Carlyle Group.

The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
