Paul Hastings Represents Barclays Capital in Public Offering by Winthrop Realty Trust

New York, NY (September 27, 2010) - Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker, a leading global law firm, announced today that the firm represented Barclays Capital Inc. as the sole underwriter in Winthrop Realty Trusts public offering of 5,000,000 of its common shares of beneficial interest, which was up-sized from the initially announced 3,000,000 offering.

The transaction, which closed today, raised gross proceeds of $70.44 million. Barclays Capital also exercised its option to purchase an additional 750,000 shares.
