Paul Hastings Report Examines Violence Against Young Women

Milan, Italy As an international law firm that devotes considerable energy to pro bono and diversity projects, Paul Hastings LLP was asked by Terre des Hommes Italy to carry out a multijurisdictional research project on legislations aimed at fighting violence and abuse against young women. The study is called Violence Against Young Women: A Human Rights Violation and is part of Terre Des Hommes Italys campaign Indifesa.
Six teams of Paul Hastings lawyers in Milan, London, Paris, Frankfurt, New York, and Beijing analyzed the criminal statutes and case law that combat physical, sexual, psychological and economic forms of violence against young women in France, Germany, Italy, the United Kingdom, Peoples Republic of China (PRC), Canada and the United States.
