Paul Hastings Partners Named Outstanding Restructuring Lawyers

New York, NY (December 22, 2010) - Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker, a leading global law firm, announced today that partners Jesse H. Austin, III and Paul E. Harner were named Outstanding Restructuring Lawyers for 2010 by Turnarounds & Workouts. Mr. Austin and Mr. Harner were two of only 12 lawyers named to the list, which appears in the publications December issue.

Mr. Austin was recognized for his role as lead counsel in numerous complex restructures and bankruptcy cases this year, including his representation of UBS in its role as agent to first-lien lenders in the American Safety Razor chapter 11 filing.

Mr. Harner led the firm's representation of the debtors in the Six Flags bankruptcy cases, which resulted in the successful restructuring of the theme park operator's balance sheet, the payment in full of virtually all creditors, and the preservation of thousands of jobs. Additionally, Mr. Harner was lead counsel in a number of novel and complex restructurings and chapter 11 matters in 2010.
