Paul Hastings Partner Neal Mollen Named Fellow of the College of Labor & Employment Lawyers

New York, New York (June 24, 2009) Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker LLP, a leading international law firm, is pleased to announce that Neal Mollen, a partner in the firms Employment Law Practice and office chair of the Employment Practice in Washington, D.C., has been elected as a Fellow of the College of Labor & Employment Lawyers.

Mr. Mollen will be inducted on November 7 in Washington, D.C., and will join the ranks of 19 other Paul Hastings partners who are Fellows of the College. Membership is by invitation only and candidates must be nominated by members outside of their own firms.

Nominees must have completed 20 years of practice in the field of labor and employment law and have demonstrated a commitment to the highest professional and ethical standards, level of character and integrity. Additionally, nominees must have shown significant evidence of scholarship, teaching and/or published writings on labor and employment law.

Mr. Mollen received his law degree, with honors, from the School of Law at the University of Richmond. Following law school, he clerked for United States District Judge Robert G. Doumar in the Eastern District of Virginia. Mr. Mollen is a member of the Virginia and District of Columbia bars and is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States, the United States Courts of Appeals for the Second, Third, Fourth, Sixth, Seventh, Ninth, Tenth and D.C. circuits, and numerous federal district courts.

For several years, Mr. Mollen served as an adjunct professor of labor law at the Georgetown University Law Center. He is also a contributor to the American Bar Associations Employee Benefits Law treatise and has authored the chapter on Adverse Impact in the ABA/BNAs Employment Discrimination Law treatise. Chambers USA has listed him as one of the preeminent employment lawyers in the nation each year since 2005, and he was listed among the Best Lawyers in America, 2008.
