Paul Hastings Leader in PTAB Filings, Naveen Modi Top Overall in Individual Filings

New York, NY- A testament to the growth of the firm’s Patent Office practice, Paul Hastings has been involved in more post-grant proceedings than any general practice firm in 2015, according to data obtained from Lex Machina. Moreover, the firm ranked in the top five overall for representations of petitioners and top three in representations of patent owners. Naveen Modi and Joseph Palys finished top five in individual filings, with Naveen first overall.
Gerald Flattmann, Steven Park, Allan Soobert, Elizabeth Brann, and Chris Kennerly also appeared frequently before the Board in 2015.
The firm’s 2015 year-end results mirrored mid-year calculations that also placed the firm first among general practice firms in overall PTAB filings, and Naveen first for individual filings and Joe in the top five.
