Firm’s Patent Office Practice Leads General Practice Firms in PTAB Filings
New York – Paul Hastings LLP, a leading global law firm, announced today that the firm’s Patent Office practice is once again a leader in Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) filings among general practice firms, finishing in the top 10 for the second consecutive year. Over the last two years combined, Paul Hastings’ Patent Office practice has handled the most PTAB filings of any general practice firm.
According to Docket Navigator, the firm’s 53 proceedings in 2016 are tied for 8th among general practice firms, with Naveen Modi, head of the firm’s Patent Office practice, again a leader in individual filings, finishing the year with the second most individual filings among general practice firm attorneys. Since 2015, Naveen ranks number one in individual filings. Joseph Palys also continues to be one of the top attorneys at the PTAB.
