Paul Hastings Boosts Asia Practice with M&A and Compliance Partner in Tokyo

Tokyo - Paul Hastings LLP, a leading global law firm, announced today that Eiji Kobayashi, a corporate M&A and compliance/investigations lawyer, has joined the firm as a partner in the Corporate practice in Tokyo, Japan. He joins from Norton Rose Fulbright where he was a partner and Head of Corporate, M&A and Securities for Japan.

Mr. Kobayashi’s practice focuses on advising Japanese corporations on outbound investments and M&A transactions. He has advised on a number of transactions across industry sectors including life sciences and healthcare, energy, technology and innovation, financial institutions and transport.
