Paul Hastings Bolsters Real Estate Practice with Addition of Three Lawyers in New York

New York (April 26, 2010)- Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker LLP, a leading global law firm, announced today that Rick Allendorf, Ronald Lanning and David Viklund, have joined the Real Estate practice in New York as of counsel. The new lawyers have significant experience advising financial institutions on complex real estate financings and restructurings. Rick Allendorf

Mr. Allendorf focuses his practice on real estate lending, with a particular emphasis on complex debt finance. He represents institutional lenders in all aspects of real estate finance and restructurings. Mr. Allendorf joins from Morgan Stanley, where he served as a vice president in the Large Loan Commercial Real Estate Lending group.

Ronald Lanning

Mr. Lannings practice is concentrated in commercial mortgage-backed securitization. He represents financial institutions in financings in both public and private offerings of mortgage-backed securities. Mr. Lanning was previously with Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP, where he was a special counsel in the Capital Markets department.

David Viklund

Mr. Viklunds practice is centered on real estate finance and restructurings. He represents financial institutions in a wide range of financing matters, including acquisition and disposition of defaulted loans and substantial portfolios of operating real estate assets. Mr. Viklund joins from Sonnenschein, Nath & Rosenthal LLP.
