September 26, 2011

San Francisco, CA (September 26, 2011)- Paul Hastings LLP, a leading global law firm, announced today that Holly House has joined the Antitrust and Global Competition practice in San Francisco as partner. Ms. House, a high-profile antitrust litigator with a leading market reputation, joins from Bingham McCutchen LLP, where she was co-chair of the firms antitrust and trade regulation practice group.

Holly is a talented litigator with an impressive record of leading high-profile technology clients to victory, said Michael Cohen, chair of the Antitrust and Global Competition practice. Her arrival complements our strong antitrust presence in Washington, DC and fits seamlessly into our global capabilities in Asia and Europe, allowing us to continue to help clients successfully tackle complex global antitrust and competition matters across continents, he added.

Hollys hire is a testament to our dedication to build a strong Antitrust and Global Competition practice and adds bench strength to our market leading Litigation practices, said William Sullivan, chair of the firms Litigation practice. Holly has handled some of the most challenging antitrust and complex commercial cases in Northern California, a critical U.S. antitrust jurisdiction that continues to surge in importance with the global role of the leading multinational technology companies headquartered in the Bay Area, he added.

Ms. House has successfully represented premier clients as both plaintiffs and defendants in myriad types of commercial and class action disputes, including at several notable trials. She has particular experience in federal and California antitrust and unfair competition law. Ms. House is the past chair of the California State Bars Antitrust and Unfair Competition Law Section and is an acclaimed antitrust specialist and litigator with experience across a wide array of clients and industries.

Ms. Houses hire follows the arrival of Scott Hataway, a former U.S. DOJ Antitrust Division lawyer who joined the firms Antitrust and Global Competition practice as partner in Washington, DC in March 2011.
